Doors Open Denver

As downtown Denver undergoes its most significant transformation in decades—from the near-complete overhaul of 16th Street to a wave of historic preservation and new design—Denver Architecture Foundation is turning its annual Doors Open Denver festival toward the city center. Themed “Destination Downtown,” the four-day event runs Thursday, Sept. 24, to Sunday, Sept. 27, and will offer more than 35 insider tours, open houses at leading architecture and design firms, and a mix of free and ticketed events.
