It should be evident in the colors, textures, lighting, furnishings, art and accessories. The space should speak confidently of its owners, and embrace them as a place to anchor their soul.
A Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Environments and Design, twenty-nine years of design experience and my position as Professor of Interior Design are credentials that speak for themselves. But they do not tell the whole story. Years of teaching at the college level and designing for commercial as well as residential clients have fueled my passion to study at length the technical details and rich history behind textiles, furnishings and architecture. This knowledge gives a timeless depth and quality to my work, whether it is modern or traditional. Active listening and asking a series of questions that will allow me to create a custom Interior Design Program for each client is the beginning of a successful project. A beautiful and functional interior is the result of teamwork, achieved as trust grows through working closely with the client. I see space creatively, apply years of education and experience, and infuse it with the very essence of those who live there.
